Grouch

A limited-run apparel brand. We designed and sold T-shirts, hats, and tote bags bundled with free stickers, generating a couple hundred dollars in sales.

Role: Brand design & apparel design

Brand

Grouch was a small, playful brand identity built around a simple mark and bold colorways. The name and aesthetic leaned into an irreverent, skate-inspired aesthetic while keeping the designs clean and wearable.

Product

We offered a small capsule: T-shirts in multiple colors, a snapback hat, and a tote bag. Every order came with free die-cut stickers as a thank-you to customers.

Process

This was a lean, grassroots operation. I handled the brand identity and apparel design. We screen printed the shirts by hand. The stickers and hats were done offsite. We sold through word of mouth and small social pushes, keeping inventory tight to maintain exclusivity.

Outcome

Grouch made a couple hundred dollars across 50–100 items sold. A successful end-to-end experiment in starting an apparel brand and seeing it through from design to fulfillment.
